Chinese researchers have discovered the new use of stachyose in the preparation of drugs for the prevention and/or treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome. For the first time, stachyose extracted from natural plants was used in the research related to polycystic ovary syndrome, and it was proved for the first time that stachyose can significantly improve the ovulation dysfunction of PCOS and restore the ovulation function of rats. Compared with the traditional medicines commonly used for symptomatic treatment, stachyose will not cause any side effects and dependence on the human body, and stachyose can be well and rationally utilized by intestinal beneficial bacteria, which is beneficial to clinical treatment, and/or adjuvant treatment of PCOS is of great significance.
